The Cascadia College / UW Bothell campus is expanding to meet the needs of our students and your future workforce. Kenmore City Council members and staff are invited for an exclusive tour of Innovation Hall, our new STEM building, on May 30 from 3:30-4:30pm. Be one of the first community members to see this transformational space! Registration required. Space is limited. TOUR DETAILS: -Limited to 10 guests (additional tours may become available) -Required Attire: Long pants, sleeves that are at least ¾ length, socks, closed toed shoes – preferably boots, NO tennis shoes. TOUR TAKEAWAYS, LEARN ABOUT OUR: -Local economic impact -Diversified STEM workforce development -Sustainable construction -Collaboration with local school districts, UW Bothell, and local employers -Limited naming opportunities within the building ABOUT INNOVATION HALL: Beginning Jan 2024, Cascadia students will learn the fundamentals of chemistry, engineering, and computer technologies, and prepare for upper-division courses in a state-of-the-art facility used in partnership with University of Washington Bothell. Innovation Hall is the first academic building in the country to be shared by a community college and a state university. It is purposely designed to encourage our students – especially those who have historically been excluded from opportunities in STEM fields -- to explore careers by highlighting the pathways leading to them.
