This is a free public non-partisan event. Candidates running for election are invited to communicate their stances regarding issues that affect the Kenmore community, and their qualifications and experience for the positions they seek to hold. This is an opportunity for the public to get to know candidates. Candidates: Position No. 1 • Melanie O'Cain • Kara Macias Position No. 3 • Josh Kurcinka • Valerie Sasson Position No. 5 • David Baker • Jon Culver Position No. 7 • Nathan Loutsis • Corina Pfeil Format: The event is hosted in partnership by Cascadia College and UW Bothell and will be moderated by Cascadia College Foundation, Board of Directors Chair, Kelly Snyder. Candidates will be given an opportunity to provide a brief opening and/or closing statement, as well as equal time to respond to specific questions. Questions will be prepared in advance, be presented by the moderator, and will not be shared with anyone outside of the hosts prior to the event. NOTE: Organizers will strive to cover as many topics and questions as possible but cannot guarantee that all topics and questions can be addressed during the limited time.
